That is a nasty looking gap on the chart.

First the chart only represents the volume and prices between 09:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and secondly volume,  which is very, very low when considered as a proportion to the normal daily volume ratio.

The SP has remained in Bullish territory since that date with a few Bear traps labeled on my chart.

These 2 combined make me think this rise in SP is not a bull trap and the continuation of the Bullish trend will walk deeper into Bullish territory according to the Bollinger bands.
